Lo primero es actuar con escepticismo. &#8220;Los manipuladores no suelen mostrar sus verdaderas intenciones, de hecho a menudo se presentan a s\u00ed mismos como aliados y confidentes&#8221;, dice la especialista. Y son expertos en evaluar qu\u00e9 trabajadores est\u00e1n lo suficientemente seguros de s\u00ed mismos y cu\u00e1les est\u00e1n ansioso por complacer. Otra estrategia es arriesgarse con peque\u00f1os enfrentamientos en p\u00fablico. \u201cA veces, la \u00fanica forma de dejar en evidencia las maniobras de una persona manipuladora es enfrentarlos en el momento&#8221;, dice Carrasco. Y a\u00f1ade que cuando alguien tiene el valor de intervenir, el manipulador es consciente de que su actitud ha sido detectada. Y lo tercero es no guardar secretos y actuar como int\u00e9rprete. &#8220;Una persona maquinadora puede tratarlo como un experto de confianza, darle informaci\u00f3n sobre las referencias y defectos de otras personas, como si solo usted tuviera la perspectiva y la discreci\u00f3n para entender lo que es importante. No se deje engatusar por la adulaci\u00f3n impl\u00edcita. Pida detalles concretos para aclarar su intenci\u00f3n: &#8216;No estoy seguro de entender lo que quieres decir, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 me lo cuentas? \u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo que quieres que haga en realidad?&#8217;, son algunas preguntas efectivas. &nbsp; EL ROL DEL JEFE La jefatura del manipulador debe iniciar un plan de acci\u00f3n para corregirlo cuanto antes. Para ello, debe utilizar enfoques y evaluar aspectos concretos del comportamiento hasta que la persona abandone o elimine sus h\u00e1bitos inapropiados. Y si tiene menos poder o influencia, estos tres enfoques le ayudar\u00e1n a protegerse y a minimizar el impacto negativo."}
